Final Fantasy VII Remake at Least a Possiblity

Ever since a graphically revitalized version of the opening scene of Final Fantasy VII appeared as part of a tech demo for the Playstation 3 at E3 in 2005 fans have been waiting on baited breath for word of a complete remake. There may, now, be some new hope for just such a game. In a recent interview, found in Japanese magazine, Famitsu, repeat Final Fantasy character designer, Tetsuya Nomura, stated that a Final Fantasy VII remake was not a priority. “There are a lot of people who want a remake of Final Fantasy VII. However, new titles take precedence. We work our hardest to make something that might be even better than Final Fantasy VII.” Read more »

MotorStorm Arctic Edge Pulled From PlayStation Store

MotorStorm Arctic Edge has been pulled from the PlayStation Store following the recent exploit which allows Wololo’s Vita Half-byte Loader homebrew executer to run. It would appear Sony has been keeping tabs on the underground development community. We’ve run through the store about five times and it is no longer listed – Which is shitty, considering I paid for it and the people who run the exploit must purchase the game also. We have no idea whether this game will return to the PlayStation Store or not, however we do know Vita Half-byte Loader will not run without it.

We’ll keep you posted once we learn more.
